At Adform, we believe that trust and transparency are the foundation of effective digital advertising. That’s why we’re proud to announce that Adform FLOW has achieved MRC accreditation for the eighth consecutive year – a milestone reflecting our commitment to quality, accountability, and innovation.

What’s Accredited?

The Media Rating Council (MRC) has accredited Adform’s measurement and reporting across:

  • Display and Video Rendered Impressions across desktop, mobile web, mobile in-app, and Connected TV (CTV).
  • Display and Video Viewable Impressions, related viewability metrics and Custom Viewability metrics, across desktop, mobile web, and mobile in-app.
  • General Invalid Traffic (GIVT) Detection and filtration across all the above

This accreditation ensures that our clients can rely on consistent, standards-based metrics across the full spectrum of digital environments.

Why It Matters?

MRC accreditation validates our adherence to rigorous industry standards around advertising metrics and system integrity. While the MRC originated in the U.S. and remains essential for operating in that market, its global reputation has made it a baseline expectation when working with leading agencies, holding companies, and brands worldwide.

The MRC accreditation process plays a vital role in helping us stay ahead by:

  • Reinforcing our measurement integrity and quality frameworks
  • Driving continuous improvement across our processes
  • Aligning with new technologies and evolving standards such as CTV and server-side ad insertion
  • Holding us accountable to the policies and procedures we maintain on a daily basis

How the process works?

Before the journey begins, we align with the MRC to define the  audit scope. These requirements are captured in a formal Engagement Coordination Document, which forms the foundation for a rigorous six month process that breaks down into four phases:

Phase 1: Preparation

We begin with an internal assessment to ensure our platform documentation is accurate and reflects any new features or changes affecting the audit scope. This includes completing the latest MRC Questionnaire and submitting quarterly Journals of Changes – a detailed log of all platform updates that could impact the audit. This phase typically takes around two months and helps auditors understand what’s changed since the previous cycle.

Phase 2: Fieldwork and on-site audit

The next three months covers the active audit phase. During this time, we provide over 100 pieces of evidence to demonstrate that our controls are functioning as intended. Auditors also run live campaigns and compare raw log-level data against platform-reported metrics to validate accuracy and compliance with MRC standards.

A key highlight of this phase is the on-site audit. We fly the US-based auditing team out to join us in Vilnius for a full week of live walkthroughs with stakeholders across departments. These in-person sessions accelerate the process and foster mutual understanding and trust.

Phase 3: Service report and Committee review

Once fieldwork is complete, the auditor compiles a draft service report outlining any findings or recommendations. If issues are identified, we address them through service enhancements or process updates, often as part of our product roadmap. We then provide feedback before the report is submitted to the MRC Digital Audit Committee, which reviews the findings and votes on accreditation. The decision is ratified by the MRC Board.

Phase 4: Final report and Accreditation Letter

The process concludes with the issuance of the official MRC Accreditation Letter, which confirms our accredited status and is published on the MRC website. This letter is a key asset in RFPs, client discussions, and external verification processes. In rare cases where material findings are present, the MRC may request corrective action during the next audit cycle or through a remediation period involving reinspection.

Looking ahead

We will continue to expand our capabilities and support our clients in navigating a fragmented digital landscape. MRC accreditation is more than a logo on a slide, it remains a cornerstone of our promise: to deliver highly accurate, transparent, and reliable measurement that drives confident decision-making.
