Google Sheets for Feed-based solution

We understand that certain clients with multiple data sources may encounter challenges in generating a product feed that meets Adform requirements and is compatible with DCO.

Without dedicating sufficient resources to exploring potential solutions, the question arises of whether Google Sheets can be used. This tool offers effortless editing capabilities, allows multiple users to work simultaneously, and requires minimal training.

Challenge

Although we are open to using a Google Sheets link as a data source, unfortunately there is currently no direct integration available with Adform due to Google's restrictions on external connections.

Result

We have successfully implemented this process for our client, Maxima. This involves organizing and assigning upcoming weekly offers, as well as integrating texts, prices, and imagery. The resulting data is then used to generate a feed that is seamlessly integrated into Adform. Additionally, we have the capability to oversee the visual elements of the feed, allowing for the alignment of promotions to specific products. With this feature, clients can use it without interruptions, and it also opens up opportunities for product retargeting for those who didn't have it before.
