MediaWorks, an independent media agency, partnered with Adform to build and activate a hyperlocal awareness campaign for a client across selected locations in Tenerife. Using Adform’s DOOH Planner, the agency identified available screens, assessed audience scale and refined the selection by location type, provider, format, ZIP code, and working-hour dayparts. The campaign ran for approximately six weeks across strategically selected DOOH environments close to the client’s priority locations. This approach reduced manual coordination with media owners and enabled MediaWorks to activate a targeted local campaign through existing programmatic deals.

For a campaign with a highly targeted geographic focus, MediaWorks needed confidence that the selected inventory could deliver sufficient reach without extensive manual coordination. Adform's DOOH Planner helped simplify a traditionally fragmented planning process by bringing inventory discovery, planning, audience validation, and activation together within one platform. This gave the agency greater visibility into campaign opportunities, improved control over inventory selection, and the ability to validate campaign scale before launch. By reducing complexity across multiple stages of planning and activation, Adform helped MediaWorks execute the campaign more efficiently and with greater confidence.
The client required an awareness campaign focused on screens close to selected priority locations in Tenerife and limited to working hours. The island had a smaller and less familiar pool of DOOH inventory, making it difficult for MediaWorks to understand available coverage and identify suitable placements through traditional methods. Planning a campaign of this nature typically involves gathering inventory information from multiple media owners, manually comparing available locations, and validating whether the selected screens can deliver sufficient audience scale. This process can be both time-consuming and resource-intensive, particularly when coordinating across multiple inventory providers. Given the campaign's narrow geographic focus, ensuring both relevance and reach before activation was critical.
Using Adform's DOOH Planner, MediaWorks could explore available inventory across Tenerife through a visual map-based interface, giving the team immediate visibility into screen locations and potential coverage around the client’s priority locations. By combining inventory discovery, audience validation, and activation in one place, the Planner reduced manual coordination and helped validate campaign scale before launch. MediaWorks then refined the inventory using venue type, SSP, format, ZIP code, and working-hour dayparts, while audience estimates helped validate sufficient reach. Once the final inventory was selected, the Planner automatically generated the relevant audience segment, enabling activation through pre-existing deals from JCDecaux, Perion-Hivestack, and Broadsign-TuMedio without repeated provider outreach, custom-made deal creation, or manual coordinate entry. This simplified the activation process, enabling the agency to move from inventory discovery to campaign launch more efficiently.
