A leading non-profit organization worked with Adform and Magnite to deliver a connected TV (CTV) campaign that drove conversions and proved just how powerful the medium is as a performance channel. The campaign was served on premium supply partners across broadcasters, hybrid video-on-demand, and original equipment manufacturers in Italy.

Why Adform:

The charity was looking for an omnichannel platform that could deliver CTV campaigns across premium inventory while enabling them to measure website conversions. 

They reached out to Adform in their search for a better partner, and we made the right impression.

Having worked closely with the client to identify the best supply combination to meet the brief, Adform was able to make the client aware of the benefits of a CTV activation versus linear TV planning solely. 

Challenges:

It can often be difficult to measure just how effective a particular channel has been within an advertising strategy. The data needs to be available to backup the investment, or effective avenues risk being incorrectly scrapped from a media plan.

The charity wanted to measure the efficacy of a CTV campaign delivered across premium supply partners, measuring how often users made a donation on their website following the ad. This would allow the client to gauge the strength of its CTV campaign versus traditional TV and other channels in its media mix, and optimize accordingly.

Solution:

Adform proposed a CTV campaign served on premium supply via Magnite and a Pixel-Based attribution measurement solution to track and measure conversions on the client’s website.

This pixel – designed to track certain events including conversions, type of conversions, conversion amount, and IDs – was also able to track conversions made on other devices after being exposed to the CTV campaign. This link between CTV ad exposure and the conversion on the client’s website was done via a game-changing use of IP matching.
