Challenges:

Československá obchodní banka (ČSOB), a leading financial institution in the Czech Republic, set out to launch a new account designed for a younger, university-educated audience. This innovative offering combined free insurance coverage with activity-based rewards to appeal to this demographic. As part of their marketing strategy, ČSOB identified television as a key channel and sought to explore how connected TV (CTV) could play a pivotal role in achieving their goals.

Solution:

With our technology partner, Tivio Studio, ČSOB could programmatically purchase advertising in linear TV broadcasting, and access premium channels that align with ČSOB’s target audience. DVTV Extra, for example, reaches a highly educated and economically active demographic, with 70% of viewers holding university degrees, 82% aged 25 to 54, and 76% residing in major cities—ideal for promoting ČSOB’s offerings to a younger, university-educated audience. KVIFF.TV Channel provided additional value through its exclusive, high- quality content, helping to elevate ČSOB’s brand in an aspirational context, while the Sporty.TV channel allowed the bank to connect with sports enthusiasts. By leveraging Tivio Studio’s programmatic capabilities, ČSOB was able to efficiently reach diverse, high-value audiences across these channels, enhancing its brand visibility and engagement with key customer segments.
