When creating a deal, you can now choose whether you want your Advertiser Access Rules to be applied or bypassed for that specific deal. This functionality works with both Programmatic Guaranteed and Standard deals.

Expanding Requirement to Comply with COPPA

At Adform we continually monitor regulatory requirements and regional best practices in order to keep pace and address changes to our wider policies. In line with this, we have made the decision to expand mandatory compliance proactively for the US’ COPPA (Children Online Privacy Protection Act) policies beyond the aspects of our technology operating in the US.

Historically, as we have not operated the supply-side of our business in the US, COPPA enforcement was limited to those products actively being sold in the United States. However, we feel that with important legislation like this and its support for protecting vulnerable and at-risk populations it is a gold standard that is a natural addition to our technologies.

COPPA is a strict set of guidelines for online businesses to protect the privacy of children under the age of 13. In the EU, although the GDPR includes requirements for protections there is no established standard/best practice for how to meet these standards. With this release, Adform expands the requirement to comply with COPPA when collecting and processing data in the US and EEA regions. In the EEA, the COPPA signal requirement applies to data collected from children under the age of 16.

Prebid Adapter Updated to Include Publisher Ad Server Bids

The Adform SSP is now using the newest bidder adapter, Prebid 5+. This helps you deliver your line items to requests originating from the Prebid solution, which was not possible with the previous version (Prebid 5). To deliver Publisher Ad Server line items, you need to upgrade the Prebid version to 5+.
