Due to the devastating and ongoing situation in Ukraine, Adform has taken the decision to cease all activities with Russian and Belarusian entities for the foreseeable future. This decision has been made after careful consideration, and as a matter of principle following the recent acts of aggression carried out against Ukraine.
While we do not have active operations in Ukraine, Adform has nearly half its workforce based in Eastern Europe and as such feels very keenly the impact of these recent and momentous events. Current developments related to this conflict also mean that certain credit insurance is no longer available for Russia and Belarus, alongside the anticipated discontinuation of banking transactions in/with Belarus and Russia. As this potentially would pose significant and unnecessary risk to our clients and partners, this further affirms our decision to discontinue all support for Russian and Belarusian entities.
Practically speaking, this means that as of now, we will ensure technically that all inventory from Russia and Belarus is not processed via our platform and that we will no longer address requests for support from these markets. We will continue to monitor the situation and re-evaluate it as significant or material changes occur. However, currently there is no planned end date to this suspension.
We are aware of the potential business impact this may have for some clients and apologize for this. However, in these unprecedented times, we believe this is the right and correct approach as our thoughts are with the people of Ukraine and all those affected by this conflict.
