New Dimensions in Custom Reports: RTB Video Placement Type and RTB Video Position

(November 28, 2019)

Adform has introduced two new dimensions to support our robust video capabilities - RTB Video Placement Type and RTB Video Position. These will allow you to more easily compare your ad performance in various placements and positions and adjust targeting accordingly. RTB Video Placement Type groups data by video placement type. It indicates whether the ad is played in the video player itself (in-stream) or auto-plays in a large format player outside the video player whenever it is in view (out-stream). RTB Video Position groups data by video ad position. The values (Pre-roll, Mid-roll, Post-roll) indicate whether the ad is played before, during, or after the streaming video content. These dimensions are available in the Custom Reports and the Reporting Stats API.

Visit the Reporting Dictionary for more definitions.

The release comes with a few limitations: The Adform SDK is not yet compatible with the IAB Open Measurement SDK, and ad verification for video ads is not supported in the current adaptation.
