Adform Appoints Julien Gardès As VP Southern Europe & Middle-East Africa And Reinforces The Team In Italy

Already VP Southern Europe, the manager will be also responsible for developing the business of the ad tech platform in Turkey, Dubai and South Africa

Michela Passera and Alessandra Viganò, the two new entries that reinforce the Sales area in Italy  

Milan, xx March 2019 –Adform, the open and independent ad-tech platform serving global media agencies, trading desks, brands and publishers, announces the appointment of Julien Gardès as VP Southern Europe & Middle-East Africa. With the new role the manager, who joined Adform in 2017 as VP Southern Europe, will have the responsibility of developing Adform business in Turkey, Dubai and South Africa as well as in the South-European markets.

With twenty years experience in marketing and digital business, before joining Adform, from 2011 to 2017 he held the position of Managing Director, Continental Europe & MENA at Rubicon Project with the goal of expanding the company's business in the markets of reference. Previously, Julien Gardès was Head of Technology Sales for France of 24/7 Real Media (WPP Company), Head of Publishers & Operations of Valueclick Media and Business Development Director France of MIVA MEDIA.

In this context, Adform continues also its market expansion either to fulfill requests from current clients who demand more global services, as well as to attract new international customers. Just in the last year, the ad-tech company opened offices in seven new markets, including: Dubai; Australia; South Africa; Japan; Estonia; Romania and China. To date, the company has around 900 employees and operates in 28 countries.

Adform also confirms its development strategy of the sales team in Italy, through a further reinforcement of the sales group with the entry of new resources that will support this area: Michela Passera, as Sales Director for the Business Publisher and Digital Outdoor line and Alessandra Viganò as Sales Account.

Michela Passera joins Adform as Sales Director dedicated to the publisher, rich media, SSP, adserver, programmatic, Dynamics ads, and DOOH. Expert in marketing, sales and advertising, Michela Passera has twenty years’ experience in the sector, thanks to the roles in media agencies and digital companies. Before joining Adform, the manager was Sales Director of Erredue Communication, responsible for managing business relationships with customers, agencies and media centers / trading desks. From 2014 to 2016, she held the role of Digital Sales Manager at Finelco Group with the aim of coordinating sales force, customers and media centers. Previously, Michela held the position of Sales Manager with a focus on the web sector for several Italian publications and media agencies.

Alessandra Viganò joins Adform as Sales Account after holding the positions of Digital Sales Manager at Quantum Advertsing and Digital Sales Account at SHAA. These roles have allowed Alessandra to deepen her know-how in the digital field and become passionate about the industry issues, after a degree in International Relations and a Master in International Business - Economics from the Catholic University of Milan.

Changes also at the top, Valeria Mazzon leaves the company to undertake a new professional project. Adform thanks the manager for the work done and for her management of the company in these years. Julien Gardès will act as country manager for Italy ad interim.
