About the team

Senior Pre-Sales Consultants have an exciting and dynamic role working with internal experts, agencies, clients, and tech vendors. You’ll be part of the Customer Success department, reporting directly to the Director, Customer Success within the region. This role presents an opportunity for you to grow your expertise and career with hands-on knowledge and application of an industry-leading digital/programmatic advertising stack.

About a role

As a Senior Pre-Sales Consultant, you are at the forefront of driving new business within your region alongside the Sales Director. You will lead consultative interactions with prospective clients to ensure that proposed solutions are aligned with Adform’s business objectives. You will be mainly focused on new client acquisition for enterprise advertisers, agencies and publishers; but you will also be expected to roll up your sleeves and assist current clients from time to time with platform requirements and best practice. Your expertise as a solution-driven expert who gains the trust of clients and the market will be essential in assisting our Sales team in delivering the most effective Adform product adoption. You will remain a key stakeholder throughout the sales cycle for your clients and will work closely with the onboarding team to ensure clients receive a consistent and best-in-class service experience.

 We would like you to:

  • Work alongside Sales & Pre-Sales teams in representing Adform in the ANZ region to deliver a best-in-class sales experience for prospective clients.
  • Use your existing network of brand, agency and publisher contacts to support sales in developing stronger footholds with prospective clients and in cementing Adform’s growing position within the market.
  • Support and advise your regional sales teams in validating prospect pipelines to ensure proper focus on both commercial and technical matters.
  • Participate in meetings with potential clients to perform feasibility assessments on both technical and business requirements.
  • Demonstrate to prospective clients the advantages of working with an Integrated Advertising Platform to both technical and non-technical audiences, tailoring presentations accordingly.
  • Liaise with the Onboarding team to design, build and deliver a solution-driven framework tailored to client needs or specific verticals to support the commercial pitch from Sales.
  • Act as a trusted partner for our regional clients and will consult and advise our internal teams during the onboarding phase to ensure consistency across clients and best-in-class onboarding experience.
  • Partner with Sales, Platform Solutions Consultants and the rest of the service ecosystem to achieve customer acquisition through thought leadership.
  • Discuss roadmaps with our developers and Product Managers to accelerate the adoption of our products in specific regions or for specific use cases.
  • Build an account plan framework and align all internal stakeholders, so that they will be able
  • To translate its strategy into actual opportunities for growth for all our newly acquired and fully onboarded clients.
  • Drive internal best practices, as well as support and develop other members of the team to reach their full potential.

We believe you have/are:

Job-related knowledge:

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • At least 5+ years of relevant AdTech industry experience, the majority of which has been undertaken within the ANZ region.
  • Broad functional industry experience in the ad tech industry and common internet technologies.
  • Proven experience of working with complex client engagements including technical sales.
  • Advanced expert knowledge in at least three of the following areas: Ad Serving, DSP, DMP, SSP or Rich Media.
  • Ability to acquire, share and constantly evolve an in-depth knowledge of programmatic buying and key business issues that affect clients and the industry.
  • Project management knowledge with a proven record of success in project management across multiple markets and stakeholders (from scope to roll-out).
  • Experience in dealing with C-Level clients and driving business growth through relationships.
  • Understanding of an agile work environment and able to adapt quickly to changes.
  • Adform system knowledge is a plus; equally, so is a demonstrable willingness to master the tech and understand it’s true value and application.
  • Excellent English communication skills – both verbal and written.
