About the role

Adform’s four super-regions are governed by four functional areas: Sales, Account Management, Customer Success and Pre-sales. The Pre-sales and Onboarding Team is the only function that provides a cross-regional resource to the other functions in all markets in the region.

As a Presales Consultant you will join Sales in being at the forefront of driving new business within the region. You will be primarily focused on new business for enterprise (advertisers) and agency where there are new contract opportunities.

You will remain a key stakeholder throughout the sales process for the client, and also into onboarding where you will also be trained to contribute in a consulting capacity. The onboarding team will support you to ensure you are also able to deliver consistent and best-in-class service throughout the sales cycle until closed opportunities reach the operations phase.

You will persistently explore and uncover the business needs to expose client opportunities and play a leading role in the task of sales opportunity qualification, identifying a good fit between needs and Adform solutions. 

Key responsibilities:

  • You will be at the frontline of commercial engagement to represent Adform, delivering a best-in-class technical sales experience for soon-to-be clients.
  • You will be responsible for the responses of all product related RFP questions, with support from Subject Matter Experts in your region.
  • You will support and advise sales teams to validate prospects in order to focus on both commercial and technical considerations.
  • You will qualify opportunities as they relate to engagements and RFPs in partnership with sales to balance a pipeline in line with the technical and team resources available.
  • You will attend meetings with potential clients to determine technical and business requirements and ensuring that all necessary information is collated prior to producing a solution or proposal for a solution.
  • You will be able to articulate and pitch solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences, and tailor presentations according to depth of understanding in the room.
  • You will maintain a thorough knowledge of the company’s products and service offerings and methodologies. You will maintain a strong working relationship and collaboration with the Subject Matter Experts in your region, the Excellence team and the Product team.
  • You will be a trusted and respected partner for our clients and will lead our onboarding consultants throughout onboarding for new business wins to ensure consistency for the client, and best-in-class onboarding and handover to the Customer Success team.
  • You will attend conferences and represent Adform externally where needed. You will contribute to thought-leadership pieces in contribution to Adform product marketing and be given the opportunity to develop your professional reputation within the region.
  • As a regional resource, you may be asked to travel for up to 30% of your time but you will be initially be asked to primarily focus on the Italian market. 

Requirements

We hope you are/you have:

  • Wide functioning industry experience in the ad tech industry and common internet technologies
  • Proven experience of working with complex client engagements including technical sales. An operations background would be plus.
  • Advanced expert knowledge in DSP & at least two of the following areas: Ad Serving, DCO, DMP, SSP, Video with strong working knowledge of at least two platforms or tools from these same areas. 
  • Ability to acquire and share in depth knowledge and personal experiences in programmatic buying and key business issues that affect the client and industry
  • Demonstrated knowledge with a proven record of success in project management, its’ tools, processes and methodologies across multiple markets and stakeholders.
  • Experience in dealing with C-Level or very senior clients and driving business growth through relationship management
  • Existing Adform Platform knowledge would be a plus
  • Excellent English and Italian communication skills - both verbal and written
  • Proficiency in French, Spanish or Dutch would be a plus
  • Strong driver mentality and organization skills

  • Experience working in a cross-functional environment across multiple regions
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts to non-technical and executive audiences
