Global Consultancy Account Director

The role

Reporting to the VP of Global Partnerships, the Global Consultancies Account Director (GCAD) is an integral commercial leader within Adform’s Global Consultancies and partnerships leadership team.

This is a global role operating in a matrix organisation, the successful candidate will lead the strategy and influence a virtual team of dot-line local sales and account managers to deliver revenue growth and service to their portfolio of Global Consultancy firms.

General Responsibilities

  • Leverage and extend your network of senior leaders within the digital divisions of Consultancy firms, to build on behalf of Adform a strong partnership channel leading mutual revenue growth.
  • Work with senior commercial leadership to set strategic commercial objectives, build and deliver Global Consultancies accounts strategy and growth plans.
  • Act as a resource/role model for other team members by sharing best practices. Drive knowledge sharing and actively engage into cross-function/cross-region collaboration to advance strategy and revenue objectives.
  • Manage all relevant stakeholders and represent Adform's position when issues arise. Drive internal alignment with Commercial leadership, Product, Services and Global teams on go-to-market strategies in relation to your strategy and portfolio. 


  • Strong network across the digital industry with a good understanding of Consultancy’s landscape, dynamics, needs and how they work with Brands.
  • Ability to negotiate complex and/or multinational / Global Deals and procurement processes.
  • Demonstrate a deep knowledge of the AdTech buy-/sell-side stack, main MarTech solutions and the Media Industry.
  • Good understanding of Adform's Integrated Advertising Platform value proposition and its product areas.
  • Advanced skills in building & managing sales pipeline across distributed teams.
  • Advanced project management skills to steer and orchestrate all relevant markets.

  • Confident presenter with the ability to effectively use storytelling & facilitate internal and external meetings.
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills (both internal and external) applied on different levels of seniority.
  • Ability to build trust with the client with track record as trusted advisor.
  • Ability to simplify technical concepts to non-technical audiences and adapt the communication style and message content to different types of audience.
  • Ability to build and keep network inside the account(s) and the industry.
  • Ability to provide and receive constructive feedback.
