Agency Sales Director, UK

About the role

Reporting to the UK Country Manager, the Agency Sales Director will be responsible for the revenue target for Global Holding Groups in the UK along with some independent agencies. You will proactively engage with both senior stakeholders and agency practitioners to understand their business goals and help them build a plan for how to use technology products including our DSP, DMP and Ad server 

Main responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute UK agency strategy, responsible for agency sales and business development activities across all global holding groups and independents 
  • Deliver agency business plans, and responsible for revenue reporting within Adform. 
  • Externally delivering structured service into agency customer groups via business reviews for example 
  • Deliver revenue growth for Adform by engaging agency customers to adopt additional components of Adform’s full-stack technology platform 
  • Manage existing relationships & maintain and develop your senior level contacts across global holding groups establishing long-term relationships with the ability to influence trading desk spend 
  • Lead the development of tailored agency solutions via Adform product portfolio 
  • Supporting Key Account Director in delivery of commercial aspects of accounts 
  • Work with Product Marketing to drive market development and client education through marketing, client events & PR activities 
  • Ensure that Clients get best in class service and support, deliver a superior client experience through cooperation with other teams within the Company 
  • Feedback client requests and development needs to relevant Product Owners 
  • Show thought leadership in local market and attendance at industry events with clients 

We expect you are/you have:

  • 5+ years of experience in online advertising; either agency, client or technology business 
  • Consistent track record of achieving sales objectives and demonstrable planning and forecasting skills 
  • Proactivity, problem-solving ability, high level communication skills, negotiation & presentation skills, strong focus on results 
  • Solid understanding of the digital advertising eco-system with in-depth understanding of digital (IO) and programmatic media buying 
  • Experience with client and business development, on-boarding process and long life cycle sales process 
  • Strong relationship and account management skills 
  • Solutions-oriented and able to work independently 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and able to communicate with stakeholders at all levels – internally as well as externally 
  • Experience working in virtual teams
