Product Director| Business Applications & Services

We are looking for a Product Director to support the team in navigating the fast-paced industry we are in by ensuring alignment of individual product-level strategies towards Adform’s unified and overarching roadmap and strategy and acting as a bridge across different development and product teams. The Product Director reports directly into the Director of Product Management and works with Product Directors and Product Managers across platform and commercial products. 

Your responsibilities 

  • Own the High-Level Platform Roadmap for Business Applications, Services, GraphQL Schema & APIs across all Product Areas with special focus on Adform’s Application Platform & Identity and Access management, 
  • Own the Business Entity model, ensure the high quality of the model via QA processes and technical and non-technical Non-Functional Requirements, 
  • Align Product Manager tasks across Product Areas, for Business Applications, Services, GraphQL Schema & APIs,
  • Work with Product Directors and Product Managers on “quality assurance” of deliverables and scopes along all steps of the Product Development Process,   
  • Cooperate with Solution Architects to ensure full architectural readiness of prioritized scopes – be the driver of alignment towards Adform’s architectural vision. 
  • Prepare deliverables and scopes for development – full accountability for ensuring formal readiness for prioritization, 
  • Communicate roadmap and business milestone objectives to stakeholders. 
  • Host strategic platform roadmap meetings and platform feedback sessions with key stakeholders, 
  • Define priorities for business milestones within functional areas, 
  • Manage the platform lifecycle, from ideation to deprecation state, 
  • Support where needed with Evangelization of Adform platform in relevant channels, e.g. internal events, trade shows, press (Main responsibility sits with Product Leads) 
  • Deliver product/ platform related input to Tier 1 client RFP’s, 
  • Act as subject matter expert and participate in cross team work (Development, Marketing, Sales, Client Services, Support, Product Management etc.) 

We expect you  

  • Solid understanding of the processes and practices of product management 
  • Experience with product management tools and practices (e.g. competitor analysis, product landscape mapping, user research, etc.) 
  • General understanding of how to build a roadmap, weighting of influencing factors and prioritization within a company context 
  • Hands-on experience with at least one of the following areas: building business cases, product marketing, technology efficiency analysis, pricing strategies or profitability analysis. 
  • Advanced verbal and written English language skills 
  • Good knowledge about the interplay of architecture, business needs and user experience on a product level and within platform context 

It would be an advantage if you have: 

  • ability to coordinate workstreams across multiple teams and identify potential points of friction  
  • first experience presenting on stage / public speaking (non-mandatory) 
  • curiosity and eagerness to learn and broaden the horizon – willingness to get “out of the comfort zone”.
