Reporting directly to the VP marketing, the Director of Product Marketing sits at the intersection between Adform’s product development, commercial and leadership teams. This role will work cross-functionally to develop and communicate the positioning, messaging and overall communication strategies for Adform’s products and services. The ideal candidate is someone who can clearly articulate the value and benefits of complex issues, as well as the ability to conceive of and develop innovative marketing programs that drive demand. This person should be able to balance crafting a crisp message while moving quickly to achieve results.

This fast-paced role is set in a decentralized team with marketing colleagues located in Denmark, Germany, Spain and Lithuania. The role is part of a highly compact marketing team with global responsibility supported by in-house creative capabilities. In this role, the final candidate will work closely with technical, product and service colleagues from across all 29 of Adform’s Offices. Periodic travel will be required.

Our expectations:

  • We’re looking for a seasoned leader with 8+ years of management experience including exceptional leadership and people management skills demonstrated over a period of 5 years or more.
  • Product Marketing experience and expertise are required. Adform specializes in a highly sophisticated, rapidly evolving industry at the forefront of the web. This requires the ability to quickly deep dive and master a sophisticated product portfolio while serving as a subject matter expert on the products, industry, and current trends.
  • Experience in the Ad Tech Industry is strongly preferred - experience in Advertising is required.
  • Stage presentation experience. You should be comfortable with public speaking, including to large audiences and panel participation. Skilled in communicating vision and strategy.
  • Proven track record of growing talent within an organization; multiple experiences over a career desired.
  • Excellent project management and communication skills; ability to keep a project plan with multiple stakeholders on track.
  • Ability to seamlessly operate strategically and hands-on as a content creator interchangeably.
  • Spirit of an educator including the ability to focus on bridging the technical and non-technical divide.
  • Successful record of building positive cross-group and cross-functional relationships. Experience influencing cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Experience conceptualizing internal and external education programs.
  • Excellent communication skills with an entrepreneurial problem-solving spirit that’s innovative, accountable, and inclusive of multiple stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to use quantitative and qualitative data to make decisions and recommendations.
  • Native English writing skills.

Main responsibilities:

  • Lead, inspire and manage a small international Product Marketing team with global responsibilities and impact.
  • Participate and support c-level initiatives, storytelling, and product narratives.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across Design, Marcomms, Product Development, and other teams to drive impactful Product Marketing globally.
  • Partner closely with Product Management to identify relevant talking points and align on positioning to the market.
  • Develop product positioning and messaging globally - create, refine, deliver, and evaluate go-to-market strategies for products across the entire Integrated Advertising Platform.
  • Ensure the Commercial team has the tools and knowledge needed from a Product Marketing standpoint to execute rapidly evolving and dynamic business objectives.
  • Create and deliver market and competitive intelligence by gathering competitive and market insights that can shed light on customer needs and inform new product enhancements.
