IT Systems Engineer (DevOps Services)

Description

Adform is growing and we are looking for IT Systems Engineers willing to join one of the DevOps teams providing services and consultations for our 250+ internal clients (mostly developers).

Teams' core services include, but are not limited to:

  • Observability systems: centralized monitoring (Prometheus, Grafana, Thanos), alerting (Alertmanager, VictorOps), logging (ELK stack), and distributed tracing (2020 project)
  • Configuration management (Puppet)
  • Inventory and self-service internal system development

On a daily basis your tasks will be:

  • Building and maintaining team services in a rapid growth and high scale environment using Kubernetes, OpenStack, DroneCI, Rundeck and other
  • Sharing knowledge and consulting developers on how to improve the whole development process
  • Automating all the things (with a decent serving of yak shaving) using Golang and Python
  • Following market trends and implementing best practices
  • Continuously developing personal, interpersonal and technical competence 

Let's talk if you:

  • Know Linux/Windows, Docker/Kubernetes, git workflows
  • Are familiar with infrastructure-as-code and can build scalable, stable, flexible, and convenient to use infrastructure
  • Know at least one programming language and shell scripting
  • See the value in contributing to open source projects
  • Automate tasks you have to do more than twice
  • Are constantly learning new things and applying them to deal with challenges in your day-to-day activities
  • Have a strong ownership mindset
  • Feel comfortable working in a constantly changing technological environment
