Technical Product Manager (Apps)

About the Role

Technical Product Manager is responsible for product planning, and execution of priorities based on the direction provided by Product Director. The role comprises of Product Owner and Business Analyst responsibilities. This includes gathering and prioritization of business requirements together with the Product Director, defining User Stories to deliver on Epics and Scopes, and working closely with engineering to ensure that the goals of the prioritized scopes are met. Technical Product Manager role also requires close collaboration with Customer Support, Sales, Services, and Marketing, to deliver the in-depth understanding of the functional area, needed in cases such as RFP responses, triage of support cases, and feedback on feature requests. Technical Product Manager is responsible for monitoring and escalating issues that may affect customer satisfaction.

About the Team

Scrum team consist of talented engineers in software development and quality assurance. The challenges team is solving are related to Search Engines and Social Networks integration into Adform Advertising Platform. Team is highly motivated in delivering highest quality products while creating the biggest possible value for the company.

We would like you to:

  • Act as an agent between the Product Director and the technology team 
  • Clearly define Product Backlog items
  • Prioritize items in Product Backlog to best achieve short and long-term Product goals
  • Optimize the value of the work performed by the Development Team
  • Ensure that Product Backlog is accessible, transparent, and clear to stakeholders, and shows what the Development Team will be working on next
  • Ensure that User Stories in Product Backlog provide the needed level of details for the Development Team’s work
  • Help identify and manage dependencies with other Products and Development Teams
  • Represent customer’s interest in the day to day sparring with the Development Team
  • Manage product development cycles starting when scope and epics are handed over by Product Director, continuing with definition and grooming of User Stories, verifying against acceptance criteria, preparing user documentation, and communicating technical releases
  • Maintain product backlog according to the Product Roadmap
  • Act as a subject matter expert and participate in cross-team work (Development, Marketing, Sales, Client Services & Support, Product Management)
  • Capture user feedback and input for User Stories by communicating with client support and analyzing feature request proposals
  • Be responsible for the customer experience and usability of the functional area

  • Experience in working with data-driven solutions
  • Strong organizational, communication and presentation skills
