About the team:

DSP Team is mainly responsible for Real-Time Bidding (RTB) engine as a part of Demand Side Programmatic Platform (DSPP). The high load bidding engine is handling more than 1.5 million requests per second, working close to real-time with a time box of 60-120ms to handle a request, including transportation. Team uses a diverse set of technologies: .NET, Java, Scala, GoLang and C. Storage technologies include but are not limited to MS SQL, PostgreSQL, SQLite, Aerospike. For messaging we use Kafka and RabbitMQ. For task management, version control and continuous integration team uses JIRA, GitHub and TeamCity tools.

As a QA Software Engineer you will:

  • Gain a full understanding of DSP platform and the tools that enable it
  • Define test methodology, criteria and test cases required to validate critical functionality
  • Be the quality gatekeeper that constantly challenges everyone around you to do better
  • Focus on test automation (functional and non-functional)
  • Identify defects and write clear and reproducible bug reports
  • Work in an Agile and fast-paced environment in a cross-functional Scrum team
  • Share the best QA practices with QA community in organization

We believe that you:

  • Are experienced QA engineer with the deep understanding of how QA role fits within Agile software development process
  • Are experienced in using different testing techniques, approaches and types (load, performance, stress, smoke, integration, positive/negative workflows, etc.)
  • Are always challenging the status quo and never settling for how something ‘has always been done’
  • Are experienced in testing back-end systems with no UI
  • Are able to write and maintain automated tests in JavaScript
  • Are self-organized, curious, proactive and creative
  • Are open, informal and treat others with respect
  • Are good at written and verbal English

  • MochaJS or any other modern JavaScript based test framework
  • Linux based systems
  • Diffy project
  • SQL based relational databases
